Section 22.33
The president, with the approval of the council, is hereby authorized and directed to prepare for community disasters, utilizing to the fullest extent existing agencies within the village. The president, as executive head of the village government, shall be responsible for the organization, administration and operation of the village's disaster relief forces, if any, working through the county emergency services coordinator and the village deputy coordinator.
