1. Call to Order

Supervisor Sajdak called the meeting to order with the pledge of allegiance at 6:30 PM.

  • Engineering Contract Amendment and Soil Borings
    • Motion to allow the supervisor to sign the Engineering Contract Amendment with Fleis & VandenBrink and to hire Intertek PSI to perform the soil borings at the lagoon site for an estimated cost of $12,350 made by Cardinal and seconded by Jennings.

  • White's Beach Water and Sewer Update
    • Watermain Update

      Testing on the remaining watermain will begin this week. Continuing to work through process of Bergman Grant to be used for water connections.

    • Sewer Update

      We have received the draft NDPES permit and have reviewed it. It will go into EGLE two-week public notice. Sewer design will begin this month.

    • Site Update

      Final Electrical, booster pumps and chem feed installation will begin once the watermain has been tested.

  • Gushow/Lopez property special use permit
    • Motion to accept the recommendation of the Planning Commission and its requirements and approve special use permit for Craig Gushow/Ralph Lopez property for natural resource extraction based on meeting the standards in Section 6.7 and 6.12 of the Standish Township Zoning Ordinance made by Cardinal and seconded by Jennings.
    • Voice Vote - 4 Aye votes

The purpose of the public comment period is for members of the public to inform the governing body of their views. Public Comment was held.
